For as long as I can remember, art has been a part of my life. My dad was an artist making art from wood, and I used to watch my sister do acrylic paintings. At age 11, I decided to see if I also shared the talent and began drawing and painting with color pencil, acrylic, and charcoal. I continued this journey through my high school years, and from there went on to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta to receive a BFA in Graphic Design.

I started my professional career working for a newspaper publication doing ad and layout design. From there, I began working for Whole Foods Market and grew within the company over a span of 10 years finishing as a Regional Graphic Designer. After which I spent 4 years doing digital design and email marketing for an eCommerce company. Today I fulfill my creative passion as a Design Specialist for Wellstar Health System, as well as volunteering for non-profit organizations.

Being a designer is very rewarding for me because it’s an amazing feeling to bring someone’s vision to life. When I’m not working my day-to-day, I still enjoy painting with acrylics, drawing, and sketching. Pretty much wherever there’s creativity, that’s where you’ll find me.
